Drunk Man Creates Chaos at Meerut Primary School; Threatens Teachers, Forces Students Out

Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), March 16: A disturbing incident unfolded in Jitola village, located in the Rohata development block of Meerut, when a man, heavily intoxicated, entered a local primary school and caused significant disruption. The man, identified as Shivkumar, created a scene and threatened the acting headmistress, teachers, and the village head, claiming connections to a notorious criminal from Rajasthan. The incident was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media.

Disruption at the School

On Saturday afternoon, Shivkumar, a resident of Jitola village, entered the primary school in an intoxicated state. He began creating a disturbance in front of the acting headmistress, Ruchi Mittal, and other staff members. When staff members attempted to stop him, he began removing his clothes, standing semi-naked, and further escalating the situation.

The man forced the children out of their classrooms and sent them home. A liquor bottle was clearly visible in his possession. As staff members recorded the incident on their phones, Shivkumar began making threatening remarks towards the teachers and the village head, claiming connections to a criminal figure, Pappal Gurjar, from Rajasthan.

Villagers Respond to the Incident

Upon learning about the situation, local villagers arrived at the school and managed to stop Shivkumar. They handed him over to the police for further action. A female teacher filed a formal complaint, leading the police to register a case and arrest the accused.

Police Statement

The police have issued a statement confirming the incident. "A case has been registered based on a complaint that a local resident entered the primary school in Jitola village in a drunken state, misbehaved with teachers and staff, and obstructed the normal functioning of the school. The accused has been arrested and sent to judicial custody," said a police spokesperson.

The entire incident, recorded on video, quickly spread across social media, leaving many shocked by the man's actions. The video showed Shivkumar entering a girls' classroom and creating chaos, with an attempt to disrupt the school’s activities. The police acted on the complaint of the school staff and arrested the accused to ensure justice is served.
