First High-Level Meeting Between India and Bangladesh Foreign Secretaries Amid Strained Relations

The Foreign Secretaries of India and Bangladesh held their first high-level meeting in Dhaka on Monday since the political shift in Bangladesh following the ouster of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in August. The visit of Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri to Dhaka marked a significant diplomatic development amid strained ties between the two neighboring countries.
