Grisly Murder Unveiled: A Yellow Fabric and A Slain Friend’s Secret

Rabale, Navi Mumbai: In a chilling turn of events, a 22-year-old man from Navi Mumbai, Manoj Sabhajeet Bind, was found murdered after going missing for over a week. His decomposed body was discovered in a construction pit near the truck terminal in Rabale on January 29. The investigation revealed that Manoj had been crushed to death with a massive 100 kg boulder, leading police to rule out suicide and point to foul play.

The case took a twist when investigators found a small piece of yellow fabric near the body—an item that turned out to be a piece of Manoj's T-shirt. His mother confirmed it, and the police began to delve deeper into his recent activities. Using digital records and CCTV footage, they tracked the movements of Manoj's friends, leading them to a shocking revelation.

Manoj had been last seen by his mother at 12:15 am on January 21, when he left to visit the public toilet but never returned. A missing person report had been filed, but no solid leads emerged. Police soon discovered that Rs 21,000 had been withdrawn from Manoj’s ATM, and the suspect was a close friend, Deepak Bulleten Bind.

After a meticulous investigation, the police pieced together evidence, including a cryptic text message Manoj had sent, revealing subtle differences in texting style when compared with his suspect. The mobile tower location confirmed their suspicions, leading to the arrest of Bind and his accomplice, Deepak Gaud.

The motive? A stolen debit card, a loan gone unpaid, and a friend’s fear of his reputation being tarnished. Bind, fearing the damage to his reputation after a theft report was filed, concocted the plan to murder Manoj.

This grisly crime, which rocked the local community of Rabale, highlights the danger of betrayal from those closest to us.
