Jaaved Jaaferi’s X Account Hacked; Actor Urges Followers to Report It

Mumbai, April 12 : Actor and comedian Jaaved Jaaferi revealed on Saturday that his X (formerly Twitter) account has been hacked. The actor took to social media to inform his followers, sharing screenshots of error messages that read, “Sorry we could not find your account.”
"So my X account (@jaavedjaaferi) has been hacked. I sincerely request those that are following me on Twitter to complain to X about it. Saada Hack... Aetthe Rakh!! Thank you," Jaaferi wrote, adding a humorous spin with a clever twist on the popular line “Sadda Haq… Aethe Rakh” from the film Rockstar.
The actor is currently shooting for Dhamaal 4, the latest installment in the popular comedy franchise. Earlier this week, he announced the completion of the film’s Malshej Ghat schedule. “The madness is BACK! #Dhamaal4 kicks off with a bang — Malshej Ghat schedule wrapped, Mumbai schedule rolling! Let the laugh riot begin!” he wrote alongside a behind-the-scenes photo from the set.
Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 boasts a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sanjay Mishra, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, and Jaaved Jaaferi himself. The film's release date is yet to be announced.
Jaaferi is the latest in a growing list of celebrities whose social media accounts have been compromised. Just days earlier, singer Shreya Ghoshal disclosed that her X handle was hacked in February. Despite repeated attempts to regain access, Ghoshal stated that only automated responses were received from the platform. "I can’t even delete my account since I can’t log in anymore," she said.
Earlier this year, actor Swara Bhasker also faced a similar issue when her X account was hacked, although it was later restored.
On the cinematic front, Jaaved Jaaferi was recently seen in Inn Galiyon Mein, a film by Avinash Das, featuring Vivaan Shah, Avantika Dassani, Sushant Singh, Istiyak Khan, and Veenay Bhasskar.
As cyber threats continue to rise, fans and followers are advised to be cautious of suspicious activity and report compromised accounts to protect both users and public figures alike.
