Maharashtra SSC Result 2025 Declared: Konkan Tops with 98.82%, Overall Pass Percentage at 94.10%

Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the SSC (Class 10) Result 2025 on Tuesday, bringing joy and relief to lakhs of students across the state. Once again, Konkan district emerged as the top performer, registering an impressive overall pass percentage of 98.82%. The district has maintained its reputation for academic excellence, continuing its streak as a consistent high achiever.
This year, the overall pass percentage across the state stood at 94.10%, reflecting strong academic performance by students from all regions. One of the key highlights of the 2025 results was the performance of female students, who outperformed their male counterparts by a notable margin of 3.83%. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 96.14%, while boys recorded 92.31%.
Mumbai also showcased a solid performance with a pass percentage of 95.84%, while other districts like Kolhapur (96.87%), Pune (94.81%), and Nashik (93.04%) closely followed. Amravati, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Latur, and Nagpur also secured commendable results, maintaining a consistent academic trend across the state.
Students can now access their individual results online through the official websites — mahresult.nic.in and sscresult.mahahsscboard.in — from 1 PM onwards. To check the results, students will need to enter their SSC seat number and their mother's first name.
The digital marksheet will include essential details such as the student’s name, roll number, date of birth, subject-wise marks (theory and practical), total marks, percentage, grade or division obtained, and overall result status (Pass/Fail). Additionally, the marksheet will mention the examination year, the name of the board, and the exam center.
For those students who have not passed, the Maharashtra Board will soon conduct SSC compartment exams, offering them another chance to improve their scores. The schedule and application details for these exams will be made available shortly on the official MSBSHSE website.
Looking at the pass percentage trends from previous years, 2025 has maintained the state's reputation for academic diligence. The pass percentages in the last five years have consistently hovered above 90%, with 2024 recording 95.81%, 2023 at 93.83%, 2022 at 96.94%, 2021 at an all-time high of 99.95% (due to pandemic-related evaluation methods), and 2020 at 95.30%.
With digital access improving and academic efforts strengthening, Maharashtra’s education system continues to evolve. The 2025 SSC results highlight the collective commitment of students, educators, and the state’s academic institutions toward achieving academic excellence.
