Manipur Police Intensify Raids and Search Operations, 219 Detained for Legal Violations

Imphal, : In a concerted effort to restore law and order, Manipur Police have launched intensive raids and search operations across sensitive and inaccessible areas in various districts of the state. These operations, conducted over the past few days, have resulted in the detention of 219 individuals for violating various sections of the law.

In addition to these raids, police have ensured the safe movement of essential commodities, facilitating the transport of 120 vehicles on National Highway No. 37 and 83 vehicles on National Highway No. 2. The authorities have implemented strict security measures at all sensitive locations to ensure the free and safe passage of these vehicles.

To bolster security and maintain order, Manipur Police have established 105 check posts and checkpoints across both hill and valley districts. The large-scale deployment of security forces in these sensitive areas underscores the state's commitment to maintaining peace and stability amid ongoing tensions.
