Mukul, who was known for his roles in popular films like Yamla Pagla Deewana, Son of Sardaar, and R... Rajkumar, had been unwell for several days before his sudden passing. His close friends, family, and colleagues in the film industry are mourning the loss of the versatile actor.

Among those deeply affected by the news is actor Manoj Bajpayee, who had worked with Mukul in the 1996 film Dastak. The two actors shared a special bond, and Manoj took to social media to express his grief. In an emotional tribute shared on X (formerly Twitter), Manoj wrote, "It's impossible to put into words what I’m feeling. Mukul was a brother in spirit, an artist whose warmth and passion were unmatched. Gone too soon, too young. Praying for strength and healing for his family and everyone grieving this loss. Miss you meri jaan…until we meet again, Om Shanti."

However, friends and colleagues have begun sharing their memories and tributes to the late actor. Vindu Dara Singh, who worked with Mukul in Son of Sardar, spoke to India Today about Mukul's health struggles in recent weeks. Vindu revealed, “After his parents’ death, Mukul had kept to himself. He wouldn’t even step out of the house or meet anyone. His health deteriorated in the last few days, and he was in the hospital. My condolences to his brother and everyone who knew and loved him. He was an amazing person, and we will all miss him.”

Mukul Dev, born in New Delhi into a Punjabi family, began his career in acting with the television serial Mumkin in 1996, playing the role of Vijay Pandey. His acting career was marked by versatility, appearing not only in Hindi films and TV shows but also in Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu films. Mukul’s talent and dedication made him a beloved figure across multiple industries, and he will be remembered for his captivating performances.

Along with his acting career, Mukul Dev also earned a certificate in aeronautics from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Aviation in Raebareli, showcasing his diverse interests and talents.
