Rajpal Yadav SLAMS Ranveer Allahbadia’s Controversial Remarks on Parents' Intimacy, Calls for Counselling

Mumbai – Renowned actor Rajpal Yadav has strongly criticized YouTuber and podcast host Ranveer Allahbadia over his controversial remarks about parents’ intimacy made on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. Yadav condemned the statement, calling it "shameful" and disrespectful to India’s rich cultural values, urging for greater responsibility from content creators.

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Yadav expressed his discomfort after watching the controversial clip. He stated that such content was not only inappropriate but also harmful to societal values. "India is a land of rich cultural values where respect for parents, teachers, and society is deeply rooted. To make such comments in public is disgraceful and goes against the respect that we hold for our elders," Yadav said.

The remarks made by Allahbadia on India’s Got Latent sparked outrage among viewers, particularly for its casual approach to a sensitive subject, raising concerns about its potential impact on younger audiences. Yadav emphasized that art and creativity should transcend boundaries and promote positivity, rather than being used to gain cheap popularity at the cost of cultural and moral respect.

The actor, who has been a stalwart in the industry for years, further expressed his concern about the current state of media and content creation. He highlighted that such statements, although made by public figures, have far-reaching consequences. "This affects people of all ages, and I am especially worried about the younger generation. We need to be mindful of what we are exposing them to," he said.

Yadav called for greater responsibility from content creators and influencers, stressing that self-respect and respect for others—particularly parents—should always come first. "There needs to be counselling for people like this. They must understand that respect for parents is non-negotiable," he added.

While Rajpal Yadav is proud of being an artist, he shared a reflective note on how unchecked pride can lead to regret. He urged his fellow creators to avoid tarnishing the art form with disgraceful material and instead focus on producing content that enriches society.

The controversy continues to fuel debates about the boundaries of free speech and the responsibility that influencers and content creators bear in shaping public discourse.
