Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a massive ₹58 Crore reward to honor the players, coaching staff, support team, and the Men’s Selection Committee for Team India’s remarkable victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Under the leadership of captain Rohit Sharma, Team India clinched their third ICC Champions Trophy title on March 9, 2025, defeating New Zealand in the final at Dubai’s International Stadium.
The announcement, made by BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia on Thursday, reveals the distribution of the ₹58 Crore financial recognition to those who contributed to the team's triumph in the prestigious tournament.
Cash Reward Breakdown

Players: Every player in the victorious squad will receive ₹3 crore each for their stellar performances throughout the tournament.

Head Coach: Gautam Gambhir, who led the team to glory, will be awarded ₹3 crore for his leadership and strategic direction.

Assistant Coaches: The assistant coaching staff, which includes Ryan Ten Doeschate (fielding coach), Abhishek Nayar (batting coach), Sitanshu Kotak (batting coach), and Morne Morkel (bowling coach), will each receive ₹50 lakh as part of their contribution to the success of the team.

Support Staff: All other members of the support staff, who played pivotal roles behind the scenes, will also receive ₹50 lakh each in recognition of their invaluable efforts.

India’s success in the 2025 Champions Trophy was built on their dominance throughout the tournament. The team remained unbeaten, showcasing a level of excellence that ensured they emerged as champions in Dubai. Their path to victory was marked by commanding wins against top-tier teams.
India started their campaign with a six-wicket win over Bangladesh, followed by another six-wicket victory against Pakistan. They continued their impressive run with a 44-run victory over New Zealand, before overcoming Australia in a thrilling four-wicket win in the semi-final.
In the final, India’s all-round performance, combined with sharp strategy and brilliant execution, led to a decisive win against New Zealand, securing the coveted ICC Champions Trophy for the third time in India’s history, and their first since 2013.
