Adani Group to Build 1,000-Bed Hospital in Kandivali, Mumbai

Mumbai, February 11, 2025: The Adani Group has announced plans to build a 1,000-bed hospital and medical college in Kandivali, Mumbai, as part of a ₹6,000 crore investment in two integrated health campuses in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The initiative, in partnership with the US-based Mayo Clinic, will create world-class medical facilities and medical education institutions under the name Adani Health Cities.

The Mumbai campus will be the largest private hospital in the city, surpassing the current leader, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, with a capacity of 750 beds. These campuses will feature multi-specialty hospitals, medical colleges, research facilities, and cutting-edge care infrastructure.

Adani's healthcare arm, a not-for-profit entity, will manage the initiative, which aims to provide affordable medical care across India. Mayo Clinic will advise on clinical practices, technology integration, and healthcare quality enhancement, further elevating India's healthcare standards.

This project is expected to significantly boost healthcare access and innovation in India, focusing on complex disease care and medical advancements.
