Delhi, India:Delhi's air quality showed improvement on Thursday, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) settling in the 'moderate' category at 161. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), out of 38 monitoring stations, only six stations reported air quality levels in the 'poor' category.
The AQI scale ranges from 0 to 500, with 0-50 being 'good', 51-100 'satisfactory', 101-200 'moderate', 201-300 'poor', 301-400 'very poor', and 401-500 'severe'.
The city recorded a minimum temperature of 8.5°C, which is 1.0 degree Celsius below the normal for this time of year. The India Meteorological Department forecasted mainly clear skies throughout the day, with a maximum temperature expected to reach around 27°C.
