Mumbai: South Indian superstar and National Film Award-winning actor Allu Arjun found himself at the center of a social media debate on Friday after a video surfaced showing him refusing a selfie request from a fan at Mumbai airport. The actor was in the city to attend the WAVES 2025 event.

According to the video shared by a celebrity photographer on Instagram, Allu Arjun stepped out of his vehicle at the airport when a fan politely approached him and asked for a selfie. The actor, without stopping, patted the fan on the shoulder and walked away. His bodyguard was also seen motioning the fan to step aside.

The short clip has since gone viral, drawing sharp reactions from netizens. While some fans expressed disappointment over the actor’s perceived arrogance, others defended him, citing his busy schedule and personal boundaries.

One Instagram user commented, “Attitude leke kya hoga sir ji? On the work front, Allu Arjun is set to collaborate with Jawan director Atlee for a new film, tentatively titled AA22xA6. Speaking at WAVES 2025, the actor said, “I liked the idea that he told me, and I like his aspirations. We hope to bring a new visual spectacle to Indian cinema with Indian sensibilities and an international presentation.”

The film marks Allu Arjun’s 22nd venture and his first collaboration with Atlee, generating massive anticipation among fans.
