Bloodied Suitcase at Dadar Railway Station Leads to Unraveling of Mumbai Murder Mystery

Dadar, Mumbai: A bloodied suitcase discovered at the Dadar railway station has led to the shocking revelation of a revenge murder involving a close-knit community of people with speech and hearing impairments. The victim, Arshad Ali Sadiq Ali Shaikh, was brutally assaulted and killed by his peers, including Jay Chawda and Shivjeet Singh, with jealousy and public humiliation driving the crime.

The incident unfolded when Railway Police Constable Santosh Kumar Yadav noticed a red trolley bag leaking blood and detained Chawda, who was unable to communicate due to his own hearing and speech impairment. After bringing in a sign language specialist, Chawda divulged details about the crime, which occurred earlier in Pydhonie. Police investigations revealed a video of the assault, filmed during a video call with Jagpal Preet Kamal Singh in Belgium, who masterminded the crime out of jealousy towards Shaikh's rising popularity.

Ruksana, Shaikh’s wife and an accomplice in the crime due to her extramarital affair with Chawda, was also arrested. The police discovered that Chawda had planned to dispose of Shaikh’s body by tossing it onto the tracks but was thwarted when he was intercepted at Dadar railway station.

The investigation has uncovered a complex web of motives, from revenge over a past assault to jealousy within a tight-knit community, and the authorities are now working with Belgian law enforcement to apprehend Jagpal, the mastermind.
