Bomb Threat Causes Panic on Howrah-Mumbai Express, No Bomb Found

Mumbai : A bomb threat on the Howrah-Mumbai Express led to a panic situation when the train was halted at Jalna station early Monday morning. Following the threat, a bomb disposal squad conducted a thorough search of the entire train, but no explosives were found. After the search, the train was allowed to proceed towards Mumbai, bringing relief to both passengers and railway staff.

According to reports, the railway control room received a message early Monday about a time bomb being placed on train number 12809 Howrah-Mumbai Express. The message indicated that the explosion would occur between Jalna and Nashik. Following this threat, the Jalna railway security force and bomb disposal team stopped the train at 4:17 AM. They conducted a comprehensive search of every coach of the train. After a detailed inspection, no bomb was found, and the train resumed its journey at 6:28 AM.

It was reported that the railway control room received the threatening message from a Twitter account named Fazluddin Nirban, prompting the Jalna railway police to register a case against Fazluddin Nirban and initiate an investigation into the matter
