Delhi's Air Quality Remains "Very Poor", AQI Registers 371

New Delhi, November 22 : The air quality in Delhi remains in the "very poor" category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi was recorded at 371 at 10 a.m. on Friday. However, in some areas of Delhi, the AQI continues to exceed 400. The government has implemented GRAP (Graded Response Action Plan) level 4 restrictions in the capital.
Anand Vihar was one of the most polluted areas, with an AQI of 414. Other areas like Najafgarh recorded 357, Sonia Vihar 401, Bawana 411, Dwarka Sector 8 384, Mundka 401, and Wazirpur 414. An AQI of 402 was recorded in Shadipur as well.
The foggy conditions in the national capital have improved. The Meteorological Department has forecasted moderate fog and haze for the next seven days. The minimum temperature is expected to remain slightly above 10°C in the coming days. On Friday morning, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 11°C, while the previous day had seen the season's lowest at 10.2°C.
