New Delhi, November 22 : BMW India, the Indian arm of the German luxury carmaker, has announced a price hike of up to 3% on all its models. The new prices will be effective from January 1, 2025.
In a statement released on Friday, the company confirmed that the price increase would apply to its entire range of models. However, BMW India did not provide detailed reasons behind the need to raise prices.
BMW India's locally manufactured car range includes models like the 2-Series Gran Coupe, 3-Series Long Wheelbase, 5-Series Long Wheelbase, 7-Series Long Wheelbase, X1, X3, X5, X7, and the M340i. The company also sells Completely Built Units (CBUs) such as the i4, i5, i7, i7 M70, iX1, BMW iX, Z4 M40i, and the M2 Coupe.
It is worth mentioning that last week, Mercedes-Benz also announced a price increase of up to 3% for all its models in India, citing rising input costs and higher operational expenses. The price hike for Mercedes-Benz cars in India will range from ₹2 lakh for the GLC to ₹9 lakh for the top-of-the-line Mercedes-Maybach S 680 luxury limousine.
