Entry ban for heavy vehicles on Mumbai Ahmedabad National Highway Changes in traffic due to PM Modi's visit

Mumbai:Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be coming to Palghar for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Vadhavan Port. To prevent traffic issues during his visit, a ban has been imposed on heavy and bulky goods vehicles on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway for two days.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the Vadhavan Port is set to take place on Friday in Palghar, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other ministers expected to attend. To ensure there are no traffic problems during the visit, traffic planning is being managed by the traffic district office and traffic police.
In particular, a ban on heavy and bulky vehicles has been imposed on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway, which connects Mumbai and Gujarat. The Palghar District Collector's office has issued these orders.
From 9 AM on Thursday to 8 PM on Friday, heavy and bulky vehicles will be prohibited from traveling on both routes: from Gujarat to Mumbai and from Mumbai to Gujarat. However, essential vehicles such as life-saving vehicles, police vehicles, ambulances, fire brigade vehicles, vehicles related to the event, and all types of passenger buses and other essential service vehicles will still be allowed.These instructions have been issued by the Palghar District Collector's office.
