Fake Room Owner and Fraudulent Estate Agent Arrested; Kashigaon Police Achieve Major Success

Bhayandar:Kashigaon Police have successfully busted a gang involved in defrauding a victim of ₹9.50 lakh through fake estate agents and a bogus room owner. The victim was searching for a flat on a heavy deposit through the "No Broker" website when he encountered these fraudsters.
After the victim lodged a complaint with Kashigaon Police, an investigation was launched. Through technical analysis of the accused’s mobile data, the police were able to arrest three individuals. The arrested suspects have been identified as Shahrukh Niyaz Ahmed, Aftaf Mohanujma Alam, and Ramesh Gisiavan Sharma. Both Shahrukh Ahmed and Aftaf Alam were already known criminals with previous cases registered against them.
The police have successfully recovered the ₹9.50 lakh defrauded from the victim. The accused had created fake documents, posing as legitimate room owners and estate agents to deceive the victim.
The police have issued a warning to citizens to thoroughly verify estate agents and property owners before entering into rental or purchase agreements.
This successful operation was carried out under the guidance of senior police officer Prakash Gaikwad, with Police Inspector Rahul Kumar Patil leading the Crime Detection Branch of Kashigaon Police.
