Four Bangladeshi Nationals, Including Three Women, Arrested in Bhiwandi

Mumbai, December 31:The police in Bhiwandi city arrested four Bangladeshi nationals, including three women, on Monday night in the Kamathghar Hanuman Nagar area, where they were reportedly hiding. A case has been registered against them at the Bhiwandi city police station. The police are investigating whether they were involved in anti-national activities.
Bhiwandi City Police Deputy Commissioner Dahikar said that confidential information had been received about Bangladeshi nationals hiding in the Hanuman Nagar area. Acting on this tip-off, the police raided the area last night and arrested four Bangladeshi nationals. A case has been registered against them at the Bhiwandi City Police Station, and the investigation is ongoing. Dahikar further mentioned that the police team is probing whether the arrested Bangladeshi nationals are linked to anti-national activities. Since illegal entry and staying hidden in the city are cognizable offenses, action is being taken against these illegal Bangladeshi nationals. The city police are conducting intense questioning of the four arrested Bangladeshi nationals.
It is noteworthy that in the past 25 days, the police in Bhiwandi have conducted search operations and arrested 23 Bangladeshi nationals, all of whom are facing legal action.
