Girl child died in house collapse in Mumbra

Mumbai:A five-year-old girl child died as the slab of a building in the Mumbra suburb of Maharashtra’s Thane district collapsed on Monday morning. The three others were injured in the accident were rushed to a hospital. Fire Brigade personnel rushed to the site and started the rescue operations.The incident occurred around 8 am when Umar Sheikh’s house collapsed suddenly. The girl child who died has been identified as Uneja. Umar Sheikh, his wife Muskan and son Ijaz received injuries. Thane Municipal Corporation has sealed the house.
