Hamas Releases Two Israeli Hostages and Five Thai Nationals

Gaza Strip, January 30 : Under the ceasefire and hostage release agreement, the terrorist group Hamas released two Israeli hostages and five Thai nationals on Thursday, who had been captured on October 7, 2023. This was the third exchange of hostages under the agreement.
On Thursday afternoon, Hamas released two Israeli hostages, Gadi Mozes (80) and Arbel Yehud (29), while earlier, Israeli female soldier Agam Berger (20) was handed over to the Red Cross committee in the northern Palestinian area of Jabalia. The three Israelis released today were members of the IDF surveillance team.
In addition, five Thai nationals were also released. The Thai nationals were identified as Thena Pongsak, Sathian Suwannakham, Sri-Aun Wachara, Seethao Bannawat, and Rumnao Surasak.
After the release of the female soldier, all seven hostages were freed in the chaotic and dangerous process in southern Gaza's Khan Younis. Gadi Mozes, Arbel Yehud, and the five Thai nationals were released outside the destroyed house of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, which had been hit by airstrikes, amidst hundreds of masked gunmen and an angry crowd.
It is also reported that Israel will release 110 prisoners, including 30 minors, in exchange for three civilians. The fourth exchange is scheduled for Saturday.
