Harris and Trump Intensify Campaign Efforts as Presidential Election Approaches

Washington : In the final stages of the presidential election campaign in the United States, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have put in their full effort. Both are trying to draw voters to their respective sides in their own ways.

According to a report by The New York Times, Harris addressed a rally at Michigan State University on Sunday, appealing to voters to maintain unity. Interestingly, she did not mention her rival Trump even once during her speech. She also promised to work towards ending the war in Gaza.

As per The New York Times, Trump expressed disappointment about polls during a rally in Macon, contrasting it with Pennsylvania. He criticized the federal government's response to Hurricane Helen in North Carolina during a rally in Georgia. He also targeted the Biden administration for spending disaster relief funds on migrants.

In this election, New York's 42 Broadway is in the spotlight, as it houses the election board's office. On the first day, around 140,000 people exercised their voting rights. Millions of voters across various states in the United States have already cast their votes. According to data from the Election Lab Tracker at the University of Florida, over 68 million Americans have participated in the voting process.
