India defeated the West Indies by 115 runs in the second ODI
Harleen Deol scored her career's first century Smriti Mandhana, Pratiksha Raval, and Jemimah Rodrigues scored half-centuries

Vadodara, December 24 : The Indian women's cricket team defeated the West Indies by 115 runs in the second match of the three-match ODI series on Tuesday. After winning the T20 series, the Indian women's team has now gained an unassailable lead in the ODI series. The match, played at the Vadodara ground, was historic, as both teams combined to score 601 runs in a single match.
Chasing a massive target of 359 runs set by India, the West Indies' batting order completely collapsed. However, captain Hayley Matthews stood firm at one end and scored a brilliant century. Apart from Hayley, Shamilia Connell scored 38 runs, Zaida James made 25, Afy Fletcher contributed 22, and Kiana Joseph scored 15 runs.
For India, Priya Mishra took three wickets, while Pratiksha Raval, Deepti Sharma, and Titas Sadhu claimed two wickets each. One wicket was taken by Renuka Singh.
Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bat, the Indian team scored 358 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 50 overs, which was the second-highest total in ODI cricket for India. Openers Smriti Mandhana (53 runs) and Pratiksha Raval (76 runs) provided a solid start, with a partnership of 110 runs for the first wicket. After that, Harleen Deol took charge and played a brilliant knock of 115 runs from 103 balls. Meanwhile, Jemimah Rodrigues contributed 52 runs, and captain Harmanpreet Kaur made 22 runs. For her outstanding performance, Harleen was named Player of the Match.
For the West Indies, Deandra Dottin, Afy Fletcher, Zaida James, and Kiana Joseph each took one wicket.
