Mumbai: Swift Rescue in Thane as Man Trapped in Lift

Nilgiri Cosmos Hills, Upvan, Thane West: A 36-year-old milk delivery person, Amol Raisure, was safely rescued after being trapped in a lift at a residential building in Thane on Tuesday morning. The incident took place at around 06:56 AM at Nilgiri Cosmos Hills, located near Bombay Duck, Upvan in Thane West.
Raisure, employed by Country Delight Dairy Company, became stuck while making a delivery and was trapped on the second floor of the 12-storey building. The situation was promptly reported by Dilip Shilavant (contact number: 9029527888), leading to swift emergency response from the Thane Fire Brigade and Disaster Management teams.
A fire vehicle, a rescue vehicle, and officials from Mahavitaran were dispatched to the scene. With help from a lift mechanic, fire brigade personnel safely freed Raisure after a 30 to 45-minute operation. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the rescue.
The efficient and timely response from the rescue teams ensured that the situation was resolved without further complications, and Raisure was safely escorted out of the building.
