IndiGo Flight from Istanbul to Mumbai Delayed by 14 Hours, Passengers Left Stranded Without Assistance

Istanbul,Turkey, Mumbai : IndiGo’s Istanbul-Mumbai flight (6E 18) has been delayed by a staggering 14 hours, leaving around 400 passengers stranded at Istanbul Airport. Originally scheduled to depart on December 12 at 8:15 PM (Turkish time), the flight was rescheduled to 10:00 AM the following day.
Passengers were left in frustration, with some taking to social media platforms like X to express their grievances. Several passengers claimed that neither IndiGo nor Turkish Airlines provided any assistance in terms of basic amenities, including food or beverages, during the lengthy delay.
In response to a complaint, IndiGo reportedly reached out via the passenger’s registered contact number, though no clear resolution was offered. One upset traveler appealed for a refund, while another expressed disappointment over the lack of proper customer service.
Many of the passengers voiced concerns about the airline's international reputation and urged IndiGo to rethink its services to ensure such incidents don't tarnish its reputation further. With the delay causing significant inconvenience, passengers are calling on the airline to provide better assistance and compensation.
