Dehradun, February 4 : The league matches of football at the 38th National Games were highly exciting. On Monday, in Pool A, Mizoram made a strong start by defeating Assam 3-0, while Uttarakhand triumphed over Goa with a resounding 4-1 victory.
The matches in Pool B were also intense, where Manipur beat Delhi 2-0. Meanwhile, Services strengthened their position by defeating Kerala 3-0.
