New Delhi May 9: In a new wave of cyber threats allegedly originating from Pakistan, Indian security agencies have issued alerts regarding a dangerous computer virus named Dance of the Hillary. This virus is reportedly being spread through social media and messaging platforms with the intent to compromise users’ personal data and cause potential financial damage.

According to reports, after repeated failures to harm India through conventional tactics such as terrorism and drone infiltration, Pakistan is now shifting its strategy towards cyber warfare. The malicious file containing the Dance of the Hillary virus is being distributed via platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, and email.

Authorities are warning the public to avoid downloading or opening any suspicious files received from unknown sources. Cybersecurity experts caution that this virus operates as a malware program, capable of stealing personal information including banking details, passwords, and sensitive documents.

The Indian cyber cell is closely monitoring the situation and has urged citizens to stay vigilant, update antivirus software, and report any unusual digital activity.
