Prime Minister Modi will be in Wardha and Amravati in Maharashtra tomorrow

New Delhi:Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reaching Wardha and Amravati in Maharashtra tomorrow (Friday). He will participate in the national 'PM Vishwakarma' program at around 11:30 am. Under this program, the completion of one year of progress will be celebrated. This information has been shared in the press information office (PIB) release of the Government of India.
According to the PIB release, Prime Minister Modi will hand over certificates to the beneficiaries of PM Vishwakarma Yojana during this program. As a symbol of solid support given to the artisans under this scheme, he will also distribute loans under PM Vishwakarma to 18 beneficiaries under 18 trades. Also, PM will release a postage stamp to commemorate the completion of one year of progress under Vishwakarma.
Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone of PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Amravati. Spread over 1000 acres, this park is being developed by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) as the state implementing agency. The Modi government had approved setting up seven PM MITRA parks for the textile industry. PM MITRA Park is a big step towards realizing the vision of making the country a global hub for textile manufacturing and export. It will help in building world-class industrial infrastructure. It will be able to attract large-scale investments including foreign direct investment (FDI).
According to the Press Information Bureau, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the "Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center" scheme of the Government of Maharashtra. Skill development training centers will be set up in renowned colleges across the state to provide training to youth in the age group of 15 to 45 years. About 1,50,000 youth across the state will get free skill development training every year.
Prime Minister Modi will also launch the "Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Mahila Startup Yojana" on this occasion. Under this scheme, women-led startups in Maharashtra will be supported in the early stage. Financial assistance of up to Rs 25 lakh will be provided under the scheme. 25 percent of the total provisions under this scheme will be reserved for women from backward classes and economically weaker sections. This will help women-led startups to become self-reliant and independent.
