Prime Minister to Launch 'Karmayogi Week' on Saturday

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 'Karmayogi Week' - National Learning Week - on Saturday at around 10:30 AM at the Dr. Ambedkar International Center in Delhi.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) issued a statement on Friday, noting that the Karmayogi Mission was launched in September 2020 and has made significant progress since then. It envisions a future-ready civil service rooted in Indian ethos, with a global perspective.

The National Learning Week (NLW) will be the largest initiative of its kind, providing new inspiration for personal and organizational capacity development among civil servants. This initiative aims to foster a renewed commitment to learning and development. The NLW's objective is to convey the message of "One Government," connect everyone with national goals, and promote lifelong learning.

NLW will be dedicated to learning through various forms of engagement by individual participants and ministries, departments, and organizations. During the NLW, each Karmayogi will commit to achieving a target of at least 4 hours of skill-related education. Participants can fulfill their targeted hours through a mix of individual role-based modules on IGOT and webinars (public lectures/policy masterclasses) conducted by distinguished personalities.

Throughout the week, eminent speakers will discuss key areas and assist in working towards more effective citizen-centered delivery. Ministries, departments, and organizations will also hold seminars and workshops to enhance domain-specific competencies during the week.
