Shocking Murder in Narela: Man Killed Over ₹45,000 Debt Dispute

New Delhi, Narela: A 26-year-old man, Himanshu, was brutally stabbed to death in his apartment in Delhi's Narela area on Friday evening following a financial dispute. The incident, linked to a ₹45,000 debt, has sent shockwaves across the locality.
According to initial investigations, one of the accused, Ravi, had borrowed the amount from Sumit Kaushik, Himanshu's roommate. Himanshu reportedly visited Ravi's home in Safiyabad earlier that day, threatening his family with "consequences" if the borrowed money was not returned. Hours later, Ravi, along with accomplices Sahil (24), Ashish (26), and Akshay Khatri, stormed into Himanshu's apartment and fatally attacked him at around 6 pm.
Police received a PCR call regarding the crime at 6:28 pm. Three of the accused have been apprehended, while the fourth, Akshay Khatri, remains at large. Authorities have registered a murder case and are conducting further interrogations to uncover additional details.
The incident has also ignited political outrage, with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Arvind Kejriwal criticizing the BJP-led central government for the rising crime rate in Delhi. "Delhi is bleeding, and the BJP government is sitting idle. How long will the people of Delhi tolerate such conditions?" Kejriwal wrote on X.
