Shocking Video: Man Clings to Taxi Roof on Santacruz Flyover After Hit-and-Run Attempt

Santacruz Flyover, Mumbai:  A shocking video has surfaced on social media showing a man perched on the roof of a taxi following a hit-and-run incident on Mumbai's Santacruz flyover. Witnesses claim the man climbed onto the vehicle to prevent the driver from fleeing after hitting another vehicle.

In the video, the taxi’s registration number, MH 03 AX 0199, is clearly visible. The driver ignored requests from bystanders to pull over and continued speeding. The man on the roof can be heard saying, “The taxi driver hit a vehicle and was trying to run away.” The taxi’s front windshield was also visibly shattered during the chaos.

Despite the viral footage, Santacruz and Vakola police have stated they haven't received any official reports about the incident. The video, uploaded just 11 hours ago, is causing public outrage, raising critical concerns about road safety and accountability in such high-risk situations.
