Sion Barrier Bridge Construction: Major Bus Route Disruptions for Next Two Years

Mumbai: Construction of the Sion Barrier Bridge in Mumbai is set to cause significant disruptions to bus routes for the next two years. Key affected routes include A25, 176, 305, 312, A341, and 463.

Buses traveling in the upward direction will divert through Ashok Mill Naka, Sant Rohidas Marg, Peela Banglow Signal (Y Junction), Dharavi Depot, and Naik Nagar before resuming their usual paths. In the downward direction, buses will follow a modified route via Naik Nagar, Sant Channaya Marg, Peela Banglow Signal, and Ashok Mill Naka, eventually proceeding along the 90-foot road to resume regular services.

Additionally, buses on routes 11 and 374 will be diverted at Sion Barrier to make a U-turn, proceeding via Dharavi Depot and Peela Banglow before continuing along their original paths.

With these changes expected to last two years, commuters are advised to plan their travels in advance and stay updated on the latest service changes.
