Suspicious Death in Malwani: Murder Case Filed Against Four for Bengal Man’s Tragic End

Malwani, Mumbai: Malwani Police have filed a murder case against four individuals—Mayarani Singh, Nimay Singh, Bapi Singh, and Lochan Singh—in the suspicious death of a Bengal resident, Jogan Hansda. According to Hansda's wife, the four suspects brought him to Mumbai on October 10th, offering a job opportunity. However, just nine days later, on October 19th, Mayarani informed her that Hansda had died by suicide.
Initially reported as a suicide, the case was later transferred to the Mumbai police, who have since begun investigations into the circumstances of his death, with authorities suspecting foul play.
The case has raised significant concerns over the safety of migrant workers and their vulnerable positions in unfamiliar cities.
