Thane Horror: Man Attacks Three Relatives With Grinding Stone Over Property Dispute

Thane : A 36-year-old man has been booked for attempting to murder three of his relatives in Bhiwandi, Thane, over a property dispute. The victims a 19-year-old man, his sister, and their mother suffered severe head and facial injuries after being attacked with a grinding stone inside their home on March 23.

Police from Shanti Nagar police station have registered an FIR under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including attempt to murder (Section 109) and voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons (Section 118(2)). The injured victims are currently receiving medical treatment, and authorities are investigating the case.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Mumbai, a 33-year-old man was murdered by his uncle and aunt in Bandra West following a heated argument over property. The accused, Habibur and Sana Khan, allegedly assaulted their nephew, Kamran Fayaz Khan, with a bamboo stick, leading to his death. The police have arrested the couple and launched a thorough investigation into the case.

These violent disputes highlight growing concerns over property-related conflicts in Maharashtra.
