Tragic Discovery: Abandoned Newborn Found Dead in Versova Waste Bin

Versova, Mumbai: On Sunday, December 15, 2024, Mumbai's Versova area witnessed a heartbreaking discovery when a police patrol team found the lifeless body of a three-day-old boy wrapped in newspapers inside a waste bin on Yari Road. The infant's body was noticed by officers after crows gathered around it. Despite immediate efforts to save the child, he was declared dead at the hospital.
