UP Shocker: 11-Year-Old Differently-Abled Girl Assaulted in Rampur, Accused Arrested

Rampur : A deeply disturbing incident has come to light from Rampur district in Uttar Pradesh, where an 11-year-old girl with speech and hearing impairment was reportedly abducted and assaulted. The girl, who went missing on Tuesday evening, was found the next morning in a distressed state in a field approximately 500 metres from her residence.
According to officials, the child sustained multiple injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. Following initial treatment, she was referred to a higher medical facility in Meerut for further care. The medical team handling the case confirmed the seriousness of her condition.
Swift Police Action
The Rampur police launched a prompt investigation after receiving the complaint. CCTV footage from the area helped identify the suspect, 24-year-old Dan Singh, a resident of the same village. He was apprehended by the police following a brief encounter.
An FIR has been filed based on a complaint by the girl's father, and the accused is currently in custody. Authorities have confirmed that a thorough investigation is underway to ensure justice is served swiftly and fairly.
