Uttarakhand: In Almora bus accident, death toll reaches 36, 24 injured

Dehradun : In a bus accident that occurred on Monday morning near Ramnagar on the Kupi motor road in the Salt tehsil area of Almora district, the number of deceased has reached 36, while 24 passengers have been injured. It is reported that four of the injured are in critical condition. The bus was carrying a total of 60 passengers. All are receiving treatment.

Dipak Rawat, the Commissioner of Kumaon Division, stated that the death toll in the bus accident has reached 36 passengers. Treatment for the injured is ongoing. Relief and rescue operations are continuously in progress. Four passengers are critically injured. Three of the injured have been airlifted to AIIMS, and a team of doctors from AIIMS has been called to Ramnagar to provide immediate medical assistance on-site. Police, SDRF, and other teams are engaged in the rescue efforts.

It is reported that there were 60 passengers on the bus. The accident has resulted in the deaths of 36 passengers, while 24 have been injured. Among them, three critically injured passengers have been referred to a higher center for better treatment, five injured have been admitted to a local hospital, and treatment for 16 injured passengers is ongoing in Ramnagar.
