Blaze at Maha Kumbh Mela Contained: No Casualties Reported

Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh: A large fire erupted at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on Sunday, briefly disrupting the world's largest religious gathering. The incident, which occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m., spread to at least 10 tents used for hosting attendees but was swiftly controlled, officials confirmed.
Emergency teams, including fire brigade and police personnel, promptly responded, ensuring that no injuries were reported. "The situation at the event is now normal," District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mander assured.
The six-week-long Maha Kumbh Mela, which began last Monday, is a massive Hindu pilgrimage where over 400 million devotees are expected to bathe at the confluence of the sacred Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers.
