Mumbai, Kurla East: A fire broke out in the 15-storey Shivaji Nagar SRA building in Kurla East, Mumbai, on Sunday evening, at approximately 7:18 pm. The fire was confined to the electric wiring running through the electric duct from the ground floor to the 15th floor of the building, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Thanks to a swift response, the building was promptly evacuated, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. The Mumbai Fire Brigade, police, and BMC ward staff arrived at the scene, and firefighters worked tirelessly to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading further.
