Chhaava Box Office Collection: Vicky Kaushal’s Film Crosses Rs 326.75 Crore on Day 10

Mumbai: Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s much-anticipated film Chhaava has continued to dominate the box office with impressive collections, despite facing some competition from the India-Pakistan Champions Trophy 2025 match. The film, which had a fantastic second weekend, grossed Rs 40 crore on Sunday, bringing its total domestic collection to a massive Rs 326.75 crore.

The film had already earned Rs 219.25 crore during its first week. It made an excellent start in its second weekend, bringing in Rs 23.5 crore on Friday. The collections saw a huge 87.23 percent jump on Saturday, with Rs 44 crore added to its total. Even though the collections saw a slight decline on Sunday due to the match, the film's entry into the coveted Rs 300 crore club has been a remarkable milestone for Vicky Kaushal. This marks his first film as a lead actor to achieve this feat. His previous film, Sanju, where he played a supporting role, also crossed the Rs 300 crore mark. For Rashmika Mandanna, Chhaava becomes her third entry into the Rs 300 crore club after Pushpa 2 and Animal.

The film saw a strong occupancy rate of 54.63 percent on Sunday, with Pune leading the way at 84.75 percent. Chennai followed closely at 83.25 percent, while Mumbai recorded 75.25 percent occupancy, Bengaluru at 56.50 percent, and Hyderabad at 53 percent. These cities contributed significantly to the strong performance of Chhaava during its second Sunday.

Adding to its growing momentum, the film received special recognition from Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the inaugural function of the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan. He praised the film for its influence and its connection to Maharashtra and Mumbai, saying, "Ye Maharashtra aur Mumbai hi hai jisne Marathi filmo ke saath saath, Hindi cinema ko ye unchaai di hai. Aur in dino toh, Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai" (It is Maharashtra and Mumbai that have elevated Hindi cinema along with Marathi films. And these days, Chhaava is making waves).

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava features a stellar supporting cast including Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Santosh Juvekar, all playing significant roles in the film. The movie continues to build on its momentum, leaving fans excited for its future performance at the box office.
