Class 11 Student Found Dead in School Washroom Jogeshwari

Mumbai: A tragic incident occurred at a well-known international school in Jogeshwari East when a 16-year-old student was found dead in the school's washroom, with suspicion of suicide. The incident took place around 12:30 pm when the school's cleaning staff entered the washroom and noticed the girl sitting motionless in a stall. After receiving no response from her when they knocked, they checked through an adjacent stall and found her behind the door.

The staff immediately alerted the school authorities, who rushed the girl to Cooper Hospital, but she was declared dead on arrival. The Aarey Sub police have registered an accidental death report and are investigating the cause of death, including whether the student took her own life.

The school has since informed students of the tragedy and requested that the family’s privacy be respected as they cope with the loss. Authorities are continuing their investigation to understand the circumstances behind this unfortunate event.
