Delhi CM Orders Probe into Student’s Death at Private School

Vasant Vihar, Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has ordered a magisterial probe into the tragic death of a Class VI student following an alleged altercation with a classmate at a private school in Vasant Vihar.

CM Atishi visited Kusumpur Pahadi to offer condolences to the bereaved family and assured them of the government's full support. Addressing the media, she expressed concern over the incident, calling it "deeply troubling" that such an event could occur within school premises.

She announced the formation of a committee under the Education Department to investigate the matter. “If any negligence on the part of the school is found, strict action will be taken against those responsible,” she stated.

The Delhi government has vowed to ensure accountability and safety in schools to prevent such incidents in the future.
