Goregaon Furniture Market Engulfed in Level-II Fire, No Injuries Reported

Goregaon East, Mumbai: A Level-II fire broke out today at the Khadakpada Furniture Market in Goregaon East, affecting 5–6 shops in the vicinity of Raheja Building. The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) responded promptly, with the first report received at 11:19 AM, and the fire was upgraded to Level-II just five minutes later due to the escalating situation.

Firefighting units rushed to the scene, deploying 8 fire engines, 5 jumbo tankers, and several specialized vehicles, including a firefighting Robo unit and Breathing Apparatus van. A team of senior officers, including a Divisional Fire Officer, oversaw the efforts to control the fire.

Thanks to the quick response, no casualties were reported, and authorities continue to monitor the situation as firefighting operations continue.
