Hyderabad:The Hyderabad Excise Department made a shocking discovery on Friday as they raided an ice cream parlour in the Jubilee Hills area and found that they were selling whiskey-laced ice cream. The officials seized around 11.50 kilograms of the illicit product and arrested two persons involved in the racket, identified as Dayakar Reddy and Sobhan.
The investigation revealed that the store was mixing 100 ml of whiskey in just 60 grams of ice cream and selling it at exorbitant prices. This dangerous concoction could have posed a serious threat to the health and well-being of unsuspecting customers.
The swift action taken by the Excise Department sends a strong message that such illegal activities will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against those involved in such unlawful practices.
This incident serves as a reminder to always be vigilant about what we consume and to report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
