Guwahati, Dr. Hedgewar Smarak Samity and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Guwahati Mahanagar Vidyarthi Vibhag organized three programs here on Sunday and congratulated the students who passed the 2024 Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination with distinction marks.
In the ceremony organized at Sudarshanlaya in Barabari, NEDFI House in Ganeshguri, and Alok Bhavan in Bharalumukh, 227 students who passed with distinction marks from various schools of the city were honored with certificates, Bharat Mata's picture and book packages.
Dr. Dhiren Das Panika, a doctor of Guwahati Medical College and Guwahati Mahanagar Karyavah of the Sangh, attended the program as the keynote speaker. In this function organized at Alok Bhawan, Registrar of Industrial Tribunal and Guwahati Vibhag Karyavah of the Sangh Dilip Sharma and Head of the Department of Applied Physics of Guwahati University Professor Dr. Ishankur Saikia addressed the students as the keynote speakers.
Secretary of the committee Khagen Saikia and Sah-Sanghachalak of Guwahati Mahanagar Sangh Rukm Prasad Bhuiyan were also present. The students and parents were given a brief introduction of Dr. Hedgewar Smarak Samiti and information about the work done by the committee in social and educational fields.
The speakers analyzed how the education system of ancient India made India a prosperous and just nation and the possibilities and potential benefits of implementing that system in the current context. The enthusiasm of the honored students and parents made the programs unique.
