India Issues Travel Advisory for Citizens Amid Iran-Israel Conflict

New Delhi:The Indian government has issued an advisory advising citizens against non-essential travel to Iran. Additionally, Indians residing in Iran have been urged to remain vigilant regarding the situation.
This advisory comes in light of Iran's attacks on Israel and the warnings issued by the Jewish nation, which is engaged in multiple fronts of conflict in the Middle East. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that India is closely monitoring the recent tensions regarding security conditions in the region.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Dr. Jaishankar has expressed concern over the escalating tension between Israel and Iran in the Middle East. He urged everyone to consider the global implications of this situation, expressing worry that the tensions could lead to a broader conflict.
During a discussion with a think tank in Washington, he said that we are concerned about the possibility of escalation. The response from Israel following the terrorist attacks was necessary, but any country must keep international humanitarian law in mind while reacting. They should be cautious about the damage or impact on civilians.
It is noteworthy that on Tuesday night, Iran launched a large number of ballistic missiles at Israel, several of which hit their targets. The extent of the damage is not yet clear. Israel has warned Iran in response to this attack, and many countries around the world have condemned Iran's actions.
