Although already out of playoff contention, LSG ended their campaign on a high note, while GT, who have already secured a playoff berth, faced a reality check ahead of the knockout rounds.

Batting first after winning the toss, LSG put up an imposing 235/2 on the board in their 20 overs. Leading the charge was Mitchell Marsh, who played a scintillating knock of 117 runs off just 64 balls, studded with 10 fours and 8 sixes. His innings was a mix of power and precision that left the GT bowlers scrambling for answers.
