Massive Fire Erupts at Croma Showroom in Bandra Mall; No Casualties Reported

Mumbai, April 29:A massive fire broke out early Tuesday morning at a Croma electronics showroom located in the basement of Link Square Mall on Linking Road in Bandra West, Mumbai. The blaze, which was later classified as a 'Level-IV' fire by the Mumbai Fire Brigade, rapidly spread and reportedly engulfed the entire mall premises.

According to officials, fire tenders rushed to the spot immediately after receiving the alert. A full-fledged firefighting operation is currently underway, with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) also assisting the Mumbai Fire Brigade in controlling the blaze. An NDRF team reportedly reached the site around 7:50 am.

Senior fire and civic officials are monitoring the situation closely. As a precautionary measure, a building adjacent to the mall was vacated by authorities to ensure public safety.

While the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, no injuries or casualties have been reported so far. Thick smoke could be seen billowing from the structure, prompting concern among residents and shop owners in the vicinity.
