Massive Fire Erupts at Polymers Factory in Navi Mumbai’s Nerul

Navi Mumbai, India: A massive blaze broke out at Shubhada Polymers Company in Shiravane MIDC, Nerul, late Friday night around 11 PM. 10 fire tenders were immediately dispatched, and fire brigade officials worked tirelessly to control the flames. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far.

Dramatic visuals from the scene show intense flames and thick black smoke rising from the factory. Firefighters were seen battling the inferno, ensuring it did not spread further.

This incident follows another major fire at the New Industrial Estate in Andheri East on Thursday afternoon, which led to a six-hour-long firefighting operation. The fire, which broke out at 1:45 PM, spread rapidly across a 500x1000 sq. ft. area, prompting officials to declare it a Level 3 – major fire. Four fire personnel sustained injuries due to a wall collapse but were treated and discharged.

The cause of both fires remains under investigation, while officials continue to assess the damage.
