Mumbai : India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.145817.23 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX on 22 November 2024 till 6:30 pm. In which commodity futures accounted for Rs. 21455.48 crores and options on commodity futures for Rs. 124356.88 crores (notional). Bullion Index MCXBULLDEX Nov-24 futures was reached at 19119 point. Commodity Future Contracts: Bullion: In precious metals, Turnover of Gold and Silver variants clocked Rs. 14246.31 crores. GOLD Dec-24 contract was up by 0.97% to Rs. 77434 per 10 gram, GOLDGUINEA Nov-24 contract was up by 1.05% to Rs. 62499 per 8 gram and GOLDPETAL Nov-24 contract was up by 0.39% to Rs. 7737 per gram. On other hand, GOLDM Dec-24 contract was up by 0.93% to Rs. 77400 per 10 gram. SILVER Dec-24 contract was up by 0.85% to Rs. 90693 per kg, while SILVERM Nov-24 contract was up by 0.91% to Rs. 90469 per kg and SILVERMIC Nov-24 contract was up by 0.91% to Rs. 90477 per kg. Gold futures clocked turnover of Rs. 5492.76 crores with volume of 7077 lots and OI of 16457 lots while Silver futures clocked turnover of Rs. 3788.18 crores with volume of 13816 lots and OI of 30075 lots. Base Metal: Turnover of base metal products accounted for Rs. 2531.42 crores. COPPER Nov-24 contract was down by 0.61% to Rs. 819.4 per kg and ZINC Nov-24 contract was down by 1.16% to Rs. 277.3 per kg while ALUMINIUM Nov-24 contract was up by 0.51% to Rs. 246.65 per kg and LEAD Nov-24 contract was down by 1.27% to Rs. 178.2 per kg. Copper futures clocked turnover of Rs. 1517.40 crores, Aluminium futures Rs. 308.81 crores, Lead futures Rs. 41.52 crores, and Zinc futures clocked turnover of Rs. 451.88 crores. Energy: Turnover of energy products contributed for Rs. 4727.91 crores. CRUDEOIL Dec-24 contract was down by 0.27% to Rs. 5889 per BBL while NATURALGAS Nov-24 contract was down by 2.91% to Rs. 270.1 per MMBTU. Crude Oil futures clocked turnover of Rs. 901.53 crores and Natural Gas futures Rs. 3220.32 crores. AGRI: MENTHAOIL Nov-24 contract was up by 0.16% to Rs. 912 per kg and COTTONCNDY Nov-24 contract was up by 0.07% to Rs. 54400 per candy. Options on Commodity Future Contracts: Commodity Options accounted for Rs. 124356.88 crores turnover (notional), having premium turnover of Rs. 1934.8 crores. Crude Oil Options: Most traded contracts among Crude Oil Options were Call Option Dec-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.5900 was up by 6.76% to Rs. 199.00 with volume of 6662 lots & OI of 6100 lots, while Crude Oil Put Option Dec-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.5800 was down by 9.83% to Rs. 163.2 with volume of 5384 lots & OI of 8307 lots. Natural Gas Options: Most traded contracts among Natural Gas Options were Call Option Nov-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.260 was up by 51.46% to Rs. 7.80 with volume of 15904 lots & OI of 8369 lots, while Natural Gas Put Option Nov-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.250 was down by 55.32% to Rs. 2.1 with volume of 15950 lots & OI of 11645 lots. Gold Options: Most traded contracts among Gold Options were Call Option Nov-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.76000 was down by 6.86% to Rs. 380.00 with volume of 697 lots & OI of 1262 lots, while Gold Put Option Nov-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.75000 was down by 4.49% to Rs. 308.5 with volume of 578 lots & OI of 1447 lots. Silver Options: Most traded contracts among Silver Options were Call Option Nov-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.90000 was down by 28.98% to Rs. 1003.50 with volume of 701 lots & OI of 1441 lots, while Silver Put Option Nov-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.90000 was up by 29.68% to Rs. 1057.5 with volume of 496 lots & OI of 1177 lots.
